Baktad (Baklava and Sweet Producers’ Association)
To prepare numerous projects for the future of sweet sector Baklava and Sweet Producers’ Association was found in 2001 by helps of best baklava brands in Turkey. Baklava and Sweet Producers’ Association is a foundation that unites producers of baklava which is traditional Turkish sweet and especially as known Sultan of The Tables.
Our Successes
• Since 2002, to gain new promising producers for industry of Baklava and sweet we organized consecutively Golden Rolling Pin Baklava Competition which aroused interest from many people even from different sectors.
• Baktad can’t deny the fact that publishing activities is really important for us as a result of reaching our sectorial problems to necessary authorities. In that case, Tatlı Hayat(Sweet Life) Magazine is keep being voice of our sector with its successful publishing policy.
• Also Baktad organizes numerous education activities to teach personal education, hygiene rules, communication skills and increasing the product quality to its beloved members.
Aims to Success
• To get rid of the boundaries for our beloved members while their institutionalization in process.
• To provide an opportunity for Baklava and Sweet Producers’ Association members to develop their business, we want to organize numerous widely education programs and through advisory system Baktad wants to be guide for its beloved members.
• To inform our beloved members about new technological development, laws and regulations, trends and developments and etc.
• To organize activities to create unity and encourage our members to cooperation.
• To attend both national and international fairs to inform people about our members’ activities
• To organize baklava festival both national and international consecutively, organize numerous mastership competitions within festival and rewarding people who made a contribution on Baklava.
• To sustain long life qualified Baklava production, Baktad cooperated with Ministry of Education to organize education programs for youth generation and certificate them.
